[14:13] * Simon's Mental Voice leads her to the water, keeping her from tripping due to the fins, and the water closes around the dry-suit as it it goes up to her knees and waist, and then shoulders, and then the bottome disappears.
[14:14] <Simon's Mental Voice> Alright. You need to swim. It's pretty deep. I'll guide you along.
[14:15] * Simon's Mental Voice pulls her down into the ocean, they keep swimming down. There is no light and only the sound of bubbles. Simon then lets her go for a split second, but takes her hand again.
[14:17] *** The Intern is now being pulled along through the water very quickly, without her needing to expend swimming effort, and Simon's body beside her gives no movement like he is swimming. This continues for a few minutes.

Upon a nearby table are large numbers of desks and schematics--written in everything from ink to charcoal, and marked with runes and some really sad-looking mathematical equations.

[15:10] *** The mist gathered ceases, and there is nothing but a featureless pink void. There is absolutely nothing. NOTHING--past this point. This pink void extends until it meets where they are standing for the entire diameter. It's like standing in front of a featureless, softly glowing [s[greenscreen[/s[ screen that glows with the light of dawn but no features.

[15:11] * Young Lich casts scorching ray and fires three bolts of superheated flame at this pink void of a barrier.

[15:12] * Young Lich casts Fireball too, and the spell makes a 20' diameter explosion that blossoms with a dull roar.
